I am looking to buy a new 2023 GMC savannah van from  Texas GMC dealer, the sales rep mentioned that the vans in Texas have a FE9 emissions code and Connecticut has an NE1 emissions code and I need to find out if this new van can be registered in Connecticut or does FE9 not meet or exceed NE1?

Please be aware that vehicles ordered/produced with emission option FE9 cannot be sold for registration in Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont or Washington State unless the vehicle is 50-state certified.
