Hello everyone, recently winthin the last week 2 2500 hd  have been stolen in my area.  First 2022 2500 AT4, second 2020 GMC 2500 Denali.

Im looking to add a kill switch to my 2020 silverado 2500 LTZ. Im thinking to interrupt the starter circuit. Any ideas where to place the switch? Also, where could i get a starter/ignition switch diagram? Is there a plug and play option out there? I would hate to mess with my factory harness. Hopefully you guys are keeping your truck safe, they seem pretty easy to steal. Both trucks mentioned above were stolen less than a minute.

Thank you

I'd still install a kill switch.  A faraday box or bag isn't going to be practical to be with you everywhere you go.

If your fob is out of range of the truck...won't matter.

Hello all. Quick story from my side. My 22 High Country was recently broken into. All they had to do was hammer out the key tumbler. Broke all the little tumblers in it and they were in and out in 60 sec. I have a dash cam. Caught the whole thing on video. These trucks are as easy to break into as the old square bodies are.

My option is always Ravelco. I had one on my Jeep and Ram and I'll get one installed on the Sierra. It's not a cheap option, but then... I bought a 2024 Sierra 2500.
