Has anyone else felt that the spray-in bed liner is too slippery?  I just got back from taking my dad to the airport and his hard-side suitcase slid all over the bed (no, I wasn't driving like an a$$).  It's relatively slick and things move around a lot.  I know there are nets and 2x4's and such to hold things in place but I'm curious if anyone else has been annoyed by this?

Any thoughts on a means of making it a bit more tacky?  Perhaps some spray-on Plasti-dip - a light "dusting" of it?

I also thought about just getting a rubber mat for the bed but I hated that in my Avalanche because it was too sticky... yes, I can't be satisfied, LOL.

Curious about others thoughts/opinions/suggestions.

Easiest solution is probably this 4x6 mat from Tractor Supply and just lop off a few inches of it to fit.

It is more so slippery than my old 2002 Silverado's Speedliner. It was more rubber like, where the factory seems to be more plastic like. Stuff does slide around more it seems.

Husky works great but it’s a truck so I treat it like one. Not a 57 Chevy Hotrod.

Each to their own, but I use my Truck as a Hot Rod & as a Truck!! 😆

Yes it is. I ended up putting a bed rug in as it drove me nuts.

Put a rubber mat in the bed and it will help.

I decided to bite the bullet on the Tractor Supply "stall mat" I linked above.  It's just the right amount of sticky so far and it's incredibly thick/durable.  Sure, I loose a little bit of bed height (3/4th inch) but I'm not at all worried about that.  The fit is good - width is just about an inch "too narrow" for the wheel wells.  Length, I had to cut about 2.5 inches off for the tailgate to close nicely.  For $60 versus hundreds for a too-sticky GM mat, I'm good to go.

Another vote for bedrug.  For those that have never had one, dont think about it as carpet. Stuff is soft but you can put gravel on it.   My high country had a bedrug and my new LTZ will too.  I think I am going to skip the tailgate this time and just do the bed.
