2024+ HD LED Headlamp Install from Halogen on LT trim?

Hey guys,

 

Has anyone tried doing a 100% OEM conversion from the factory halogen lights to the LED's on the new 24 models? I know the LT trim can be optioned with or without them. My main concern is the wiring. I'm sure the mounting would not be an issue, just curious if its plug and play.

Only way to get them on an LT is in a Trail Boss, Midnight, Z71 Sport or Z71 Chrome package which all change to the LTZ front end and headlight assemblies.  Otherwise they are not a regularly addable option.

 

 

As far as putting them on a truck that doesn't have them, Gen5diy has a plug and play adapter harness to go from halogen lamps to factory LEDs.  You have to source a set of 2020-2023 LED factory headlights as those will bolt in place of the stock halogens.

The new factory LEDs won't fit unless you swap the rest of the front (grille, headlights and any bumper trim).

Thanks newdude, great information. Any idea on tail lights? I don't see a P+P harness for the HD's only the 1500's.

Is there anything to keep in mind to just swap the halogen bulbs to a LED replacement? As I posted elsewhere I only plan on doing the high beams on this truck. Will this affect the Intellibeam feature?

 

Any brands to go w/ or avoid when doing this swap?

I used Sealight X003CHE07D LEDs for my 2024 LT. Replaced both high and low  beams and they work great. No issues with the Intellibeam function.

I used Lasfits on mine, no issues with the intellibeam.
