2022 Chevy silverado LTZ

Started the engine and the dash lit up like a Christmas tree with just about every alarm related to steering and brakes systems. Brake system failure, TC failure, Steering locked, check engine light, limp mode turned off ect... Engine seem to be running smooth. Turned off the engine and waited about 10 minutes and tried again. Same thing happened. Pulled out of the parking stall and found that my brakes were extremely soft. I had to put it to the floor to stop from a slow roll back. I had it towed to the dealer and when they got around to looking at it over the weekend the errors had cleared and the truck was operating as expected. What could have caused this batch of alarms?

 

Truck history: A year ago the alternator was replaced due to dealer technician cross threading the bolt for the alternator side of the battery lead during other warranty work. I'm wondering if this may have caused damage the the ECU.

Welcome to the forum. Check the ground strap on the passengers side. Firewall to the frame. Bad connection or rotten/green ground strap.

Ground straps behind the right front wheel liner.  One from the firewall to the frame, the other engine to firewall.  Yours are likely very green and possibly broken.

Did you ever get this resolved?  2022 Silverado LTZ new interior style - Looking on tahoe forums seemed to be a major problem for them also.  Same truck doing same thing, everything goes nuts, climate controls go to 76, cant power down even after turning truck off.  Have to wait ten minutes or so, can clear all codes with a scanner - last time had 32 codes on engine alone.  Body module has been updated.  Ground straps are good.
