I know, this seems crazy, but I'm looking to lower the front and rear of my 2025 2500HD trail boss by 2".

How would you reccomend going about that? I've never done anything like this before. I've tried searching around and I'm not finding much beyond someone who completely slams it down so the tires rub the wheel wells.

Trail Boss is no different than a regular 2020-2025 HD.  You just need a shackle drop.

Here's one for example - Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD 2020-20-22 Rear 2" | Switch Suspension

Looks like I can do this key adjustment for the front end, but I don't think I'll get 2" out of it. I don't want to put the control arms at a bad angle.

The bolts are already set out a ways, you won't really be able to adjust down much if any at all.

I don't see any lowering keys available from any of the lowering companies, but a lowering key is what you'd need really as the key would be re-indexed to not compromise the proper loading of the torsion bar vs. just running the bolt out which is not what you want to do.

Now...I'm gonna put on my smart@ss hat.  Did you buy an HD because you needed it?  If so, did you consider a truck with 17" or 18" wheel/tire package?  17"s would have saved about 1.5 inches in floor height from the ground as they are a 31.6" tire vs. the 20"s which are a 34.1" tire.  And then you could have drop shackled it as well.

Yep. I tow a camper and other trailers. Didn't need the big wheels or lift though. I got a good deal on this truck so I jumped on it.

Exactly. I personally don't like trucks were it's like 12 inches from the top of the tire to the bottom of the wheel well.

I don't offroad my half ton truck, it's exactly why I lowered it 1.5in in the front and 3in the rear. I can still do all the truck things that it needs to do.

Any updates on this???

My local dealer has a great deal on some 2500’s but I only have an 80 inch tall garage door opening.

I recently totaled my 1500 trail boss when a deer ran into the side of my truck on the interstate and the 2500 is cheaper than a similarly equipped 1500 custom trail boss.
