Anyone with a CUSTOM trim truck have a scrubbig sound from the interior of the driver's side passenger door?

My 25' Custom has a sound, that's not what I'd call a rattle, but more of a scrubbing sound that comes from the driver's side, passanger door, on the inside. Forward, and up from the door handle, if that makes sense. Sounds like 2 pieces of soft plastic rubbing against each other.

It's right behind my left ear, if you're driving. 

Anyone else?

Not related to your problem, but about a month ago I started getting a fluttering noise in mine. It kept getting worse. I decided it was definitely speed related. Being basically lazy in my retirement, I ignored it. Took a trip with my noise sensitive wife. That upped the priority on finding the problem. Got about 30 miles when I decided it would need immediate attention or I would have to listen to it and my wife.  Stopped and started checking. Turned out the hood deflector had worked loose on one side. Bought some foam tape and inserted a piece of that. Problem solved.

Not precisely what you are referring to and not of any help, but...

 

I get a fluttering type of noise that sounds like it is coming from the front console / behind dash, driver's side area.  It happens intermittently and only when traveling approx. 20mph or faster, and again, not all of the time.  I don't what it can be.

Have this problem in my truck too. Completely intermittent. Thought it was slushy snow in the door originally. Drives my wife nuts when it happens on a long drive.

This might be that loose bolt on the coolant reservoir. Pop the hood it’s on the drivers side fender near firewall. That bolt is loose on a lot of trucks. 
presented as a weird flutter sound going over bumps lower speeds. I tightened mine and no more noises.

I'll be darned.  Not that I have any noises but decided to check the reservoir bolts after reading your reply, they both were loose.  You da man @Pryme!!

Not your issue but I have a good one. I had a 2001 Silverado that developed a sporadic flutter at speeds above 60mph. It really annoyed me (because I couldn't find the cause) but it drove my wife crazy. Which in turn aggravated me even more. One day while driving I leaned forward to find the source and noticed it was the rubber cover over the hood hinges under the cowl panel. I guess the bug deflector on the hood contaminated the air flow. I replaced the rubber with a heavier piece and solved the issue.

Pryme, I checked mine and it was loose!  The side mounted bolt was very loose and the second vertically mounted bolt slightly loose.  I tightened both.  Time will tell if this was the fluttering sound I was experiencing.  Thanks for the tip!

I bet it is. Mine did it and when I tightened that up it was silent. That reminds me I might just check it again just to make sure those don’t have a tendency to back out. Still no noise

Update....It's been over two months since I tightened the bolts on the coolant reservoir....no more noises (at least the one I had)!
