I didnt get a hitch from the factory because I kinda figured it was cheezy & I should just buy one aftermarket that's stronger.

Which ones does everyone have? I'm hunting for class 3+ , I dont do a lot of heavy towing, BUT whenever I get the truck lifted....and "might" need to yank someone out of a mudhole, I want to know it's not going to fly off...

Hidden Hitch, Draw Tite, and Reese are some common Hitch makers...haven't had experience with any though, due to having the factory setup on mine.

I bought a hidden hitch from www.etrailer.com, quick cheap shipping and the best prices I've found.

My Class III bolted right in just like the factory hitch, I've had several friends who thought it was a factory piece. Just look for a "Hoppy" connector too, at walmart for the trailer wiring. It plugs right into the plug behind and above the bumper...

I got an adaptor from a friend that plugs into the factory wiring above the spare. It is simply the 7wire factory plug that fits in the stock hitch.

I just have to get the 7wire - 4 wire converter and I'll be good in wiring.
