Another Tire Question

I went to my local tire shop to check out prices. The guy gave me a quote of $574 for 4 Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo's. That includes mounting and balancing. I didn't think that was a bad price. How does that sound? Is that a fair price?

What size of tire? For 285's I'd say that's a pretty good deal. Not bad either if it's for 265's, though.

Either way, the Revo is a good tire, at least I think so.

often the best deal can be found by printing the price plus shipping off tirerack.com and having the local store match it.

Oh, sorry. They are 265 75 R16's. It didn't seem like a bad price to me, but I wanted some other peoples opinions. Thanks!

Not too bad, but I think you could do better.

Check Wal Mart, they are usually the cheapest. Then see if a good tire shop will match them, or come close.

That is my plan.

I can get a set of 4 265/75R16D BFG A/Ts for $604 from Wal Mart. $580 from Tire Rack, but then you gotta pay shipping and to get them mounted and balanced.

that does not sound too bad I bought my last set of tires (dominator's a/t 255 75r 16) and it was under 550. I have found out that tire discount is cheaper then walmart in my neck of the woods

I forget my total on mine, but I want to say it was fairly close to your figure. It ended up being buy 3 get the 4th free...lifetime balance, rotation, road hazard.

I got lifetime balance rotate, road hazard, mounted, bal....etc. etc...for around $600-$650.

This is on Nitto TerraGrapplers 285/75/16s...And I called around doing pricematching all day....So I would say you are getting a pretty good deal.

That's a good price, if I recall tire rack is $144 + shipping, then you have to get them mounted and balanced. I shopped around a lot and still paid more than the price you were quoted. That price is the same as tire racks with out shipping. That really is a deal for that size.

Not a bad price. I paid 550 for a set of 285-75 16 AT cooper discover's. They say that the Revo is the best tire right now for the money. Anyway if I could figure out of to post a pic of my truck you could see the tires.
