Wires under bed next to spare

Hey, so i was just looking under my '99 Sierra that i just got a little while ago because im thiniking about putting a hitch on her. Anyway, while im down there i see about 5 wires coming down from above the spare. Theyre not connected to anything, they have heat shrink butts at the ends. Theres 2 blues, a green, a yellow and a white. Im hoping theyre for an easy hookup for trailer lights. Ive never done any hitch work or anything in that area before. Is that what the wires are for?

That's what they should be...but you never know. They may be for the aux. Mr. Reactor.

That's what it is for, look in your owners manual, you have all the color codes.

Ill hook an electrical tester up to it, no problem

Here it is:

 

Yellow: left stop/ turn signal

 

Dark green: right stop/ turn signal

 

Brown: taillamps

 

White: ground

 

Light green: back-up lamp

 

Light blue: center high-mounted stoplamp

I believe that you will need a big fuse to go into the underhood electrical box before they will work, but I'm not a 100% sure on that one.
