Nick2000Gmc Posted April 24, 2005 Posted April 24, 2005 Well the 2000 has 100,000 km's now and is in need of some shocks. Well I would like to get a set from ebay I see a lot on there that are brand new. I was wondering though I have a 2000 4x4 and I was wondering if the 3/4 shocks would fit a 1/2 ton or if the 2wd shocks would fit it. It seems they go a lot cheaper and I wouldn't mind a little tighter shockj actually so if the 3/4 ton would fit my half ton I would be game to try it. Anyways thanks for your help
99silveradoz71 Posted April 24, 2005 Posted April 24, 2005 My GUESS would be that they are application specific for a reason. I know the suspensions between a 4wd and 2wd are different as well; torsion bars on the 4wd and springs(I seek correction or confirmation here) up front on the 2wd. So I'd guess that wouldn't fly.
asilverblazer Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 Look for North Texas Factory Take-offs. I got mine off EBay from them and no complaints here. Mine were a direct replacement as well.
Nick2000Gmc Posted April 25, 2005 Author Posted April 25, 2005 Than ks for the options can't find North Texas Factory Take-offs on ebay. Anyone else know a site that ships them

I bought a set last fall and they were like new. If this auction is over when you read this, keep checking because he lists new ones all the time.4x4 shocks

You can do a search on the UPS site for one near you.
