2001 Chevy 2500HD ECLB LS 2wd, 6.0L, 4.10 axle

Pros: Could pull my house off its foundation, pretty quick for a beast of a truck, looked awesome, mechanically and structurally sound up til sold at 32,000 mi

Cons: 12 mpg, could not park it anywhere without it sticking out, front speakers blew d**n quick

2004 Chevy 1500 SCSB LS 2wd, 5.3L, 3.42 axle

Pros: Really good power and great mileage, Cloth seats are super comfortable, much easier to park, 60,000 mi and no problems at all

Cons: Don't like the front end (though the SS looks good), wish I had 4.10 axle

1999 Ford F150 Reg Cab short bed 2wd 4.2l v6 absolutely ZERO options, but it had leather interior... - first truck, turned 16 when I got it. Raced, lost, and wrecked all at the same time.

1988 Ford F150 reg cab long bed zero options 2wd 300I6 w/ comp cam and hooker headers, raised the compression a little by milling the head and decking the block, had a 5 speed, then a C6 (bullet proof) then I put in a 4 speed (needed to drive on the highway). Drove it after wreck for about 2 years, rebuilt the motor with some goodies listed abovee. Good engine, it would pull anything, horrid gas mileage, body was falling apart. Now its parked.

2003 Chevy Silverado reg cab step side red 5.3l auto unsure on gears, I have another thread on that. Completely loaded, no complaints I've had it for 2 days. Well I have one. Each bump I hit I hit the accelerator, and on bumpy roads it aint fun, I use cruise control...a lot. Its good great power, I can actually power brake my own vehivle for the first time.

Dont be embarassed by having a love for vehicles. I think that is why I have been married for so many years because my wife accepts that I love getting a new vehicle every few years and then lavish money on the current "girlfriend"

List of the trucks I've owned....that'll be easy.

2002 GMC YukonXL. Just love it!

I've had my share of cars and mini-vans, but I won't mention those.

1972 International Scout II - 200ci 4cyl, 3spd std. Pro's: great turning radius, great off road manners, laid strips forever. Con's: both floors and rockers completely rusted out so I needed to sit on a milk crate to drive and you couldn't open the doors or the dash would collapse onto your lap.

1978 GMC K3500 4x4 pickup - 292 straight 6 with 4spd and 4.10's. Pros: Great hauling truck, fit three people side by side comfortably, easy to work on, cheap parts. Cons: First engine lasted approx 100k, then 350ci V8 lasted 35k, then 6.2 diesel lasted 20k, horrible fuel economy until converted to diesel.

1989 Dodge Ramcharger - 318ci V8, 3spd auto, 3.20's. Pros: Great offroad and turning radius, cheap and easy to work on, over 150k out of origional tranny and engine when sold. Cons: bouncy ride, horrible steering, engine got 12mpg no matter what you did.

1994 Chevy K1500 ECSB stepside - 350 TBI, 5spd, 3.42s. Pros: Great gas mileage (16 in town and 20's highway), good ride, good handling, quiet interior, cheap parts and easy to work on. Cons: poor interior, motor needed more oomph, blew 2 rear axles before going to SF 14 bolt, brake lines rusted out at 160k mi.

2003 GMC Sierra K2500HD 4x4 ECSB - 6.0L, 4L80e, 4.10's. Pros: Great power/acceleration, great handling, great ride, quiet, nice interior, good tuning radius for size, easy to work on (so far). Cons: poor fuel economy........can't think of anything else.

1990 Chevy Silverado, single cab, long bed, two-tone blue

The 350 had a great amount of power! Loved the long bed.

1997 Chevy Silverado, extended cab, shortbed, dark green

The back seat wasn't used for people, I just collected junk back there that I didn't need, the back seat was a good place to keep guns though.

2000 Chevy Silverado, single cab, long bed, maroon

My first 4x4, love being able to go nearly every where I want to. Don't have to worry about the winter season anymore. Glad to have the long bed back.

Clutch went out in 2200 miles, sold @ 8,000 miles due to wife quitting work for second child

1990 Ranger 2wd green, 2.3 liter, std, reg cab, standard bed, craigers

Drove until 86,000 miles and sold to purchase larger family van

1999.5 Silverado 2wd, two tone blue/silver, 5.3, automatic, extended cab, standard bed

Drove until 105,000 miles when S2000 bug bit -- dumb move

2006 F-250 PSD, King Ranch, 4x4, CC, two tone blue/beige, standard bed

Most crappy vehicle I have ever owned. Leaked from 1123 miles to 19,000. Many repairs with no real fix.

Never another Ferd...found on road dripping !

Hope this is a good one. 1700 miles so far so good.

I love trucks...

1989 GMC S15 extended cab. 4.3L, 4wd. My dad bought this one, but I got to drive it a lot. beat the hell out of it, kept it around as a company truck for years. It was rolled in the ice which destroyed the cab and shell. Bough back from the insurance company and resurrected by my brother and dad. It was later dubbed "FrankenTruck" because the replacement cab was another color. put 225,000 miles on original motor and they gave to my idiot brother in law who then sold it for some unknown reason...the fun I had in that truck...

1991 Ford Ranger 3.0L V6 2wd extended cab bought new and drove it into the ground! Put almost 200,000 miles on it before the engine blew up. Pros: could fit 5 in a pinch, durable motor, tough I-beam front suspension, 400 mile range with auto.

Cons: no power, engine needed a quart of oil every 900 miles (Ford considers this normal), transmission changes every 45,000 miles, every part of the A/C replaced at least twice and some were on their third.

1999 Dodge Dakota 4wd 5.2L V8 club cab bought new, drove it 147,000 miles until I had to sell it for more family space. Pros: Speed governed at a high 115mph..whew!! durable motor, TIGHT turning radius, good approach angles for off-road, not too big and not too small for most things.

Cons: worse gas mileage than anything I can think of, terrible highway range, big motor in cramped engine compartment fried spark plug wires on a regular basis

2006 GMC Sierra CC Z71 4wd 5.3L This was my dream truck. First truck I ever ordered. Pros: Gas mileage was surprisingly good, lots of room for the family, auto a/c, quiet!

Cons: developed front end drivetrain problems that GM couldn't solve. GM bought back under BBB arbitration program and I picked up my next truck...

2007 GMC Sierra GMT-900 CC Z71 4wd 5.3L..wow!!! This thing blows everything I ever owned out of the water! Pros: Nice interior, nice exterior, more refined and more car like but still a truck. Lots of looks and attention on the road. I will have this one for a long time!

Cons: no rear a/c vents? cloth seats attract a lot of lint, nothing more.

1987 Jeep Wrangler 4x4. 133k miles. Pros: Was a great truck with a 4.2L that I was convinced could pull a house of its foundation. After college, me and a buddy of mine opened up a mobile detailing business and the Jeep pulled a trailer with approx 100 gal. of water 5 days a week. Cons: It needed a new carb every year or so. Never could get it to run right, transfer case blew out.

1993 Ford Explorer 4.0L 4x4 117k miles Pros: very reliable, drove smooth, great brakes, and comfortable traveler. Cons: Paint started to peel off on the roof

1999 Chevy Tahoe 5.7 4x4 148k miles Pros: Solid truck. Never left me on the side of the road, truck felt well built, great power, easy to maintain. Cons: intake gasket

2002 GMC Yukon 5.3 4x4 70k miles Pros: Great features, much nicer interior than my 99, 5.3 proves better power than 5.7, Cons: nothing yet, I love this one!

I am 18 years old and on my third truck/suv. I was given the family 2003 Trailblazer at 16. It was fully loaded, plenty fast, and could fit a party in the back. My family ran 88k on it in two and a half years before it started to develop motor problems. It finally threw a belt and overheated on a 14 hour drive visiting Notre Dame and it never ran right after that. Got excellent gas mileage and was more than any kid could ask for.

I had the motor on the TB fixed in February of 06 and I traded it in for my 2006 Silverado CC LT3, the second car I have bought. An absolutely gorgeous truck that so far hasn't let me down. It has towed anything I could throw at it and never had any problems. I put in a Line-x as soon as I bought the truck and a Magnaflow dual exhaust recently. I think I'll enjoy this truck a lot more when I finish paying it off in five more years.

My last truck I purchase off of my Grandfather unknown to him to help with some financial troubles several years back, so it is truly the first truck I ever owned. I left it in his posession until recent health complications arose. I finally brought it back and am now in the process of restoring his 1969 Ford F100. Its 2wd with a 360 V8 that has been in the family since bought new. I hope to one day give it back to him in restored condition, but only time will tell.

This has been my only vehicle, I'm only 16 ya know.

1995 Chevy C1500 - Love this truck!

Pros: Powerful 350 that still runs great with 159k miles, very simple to work on (TBI rocked!), service codes can be retrieved with the ol' paper clip trick, 3.42s provide great gas mileage in overdrive and lots of power in lower gears, roasts tires without ever touching the brake (pretty quick too!), love how it looks inside and out, extended cab is great for storing stuff, very few problems.

Cons: Missed the Vortec 350 by one year (but at least I don't have to deal with that crappy CSFI system), 3.42s are very doggy in overdrive, tranny was replaced just under 158k miles, 2WD with open-carrier differential, needs a new paint job.

1989 Chevy 2-Door S-Blazer 4x4 - A tank, and a good first vehicle. I rebuilt the 4.3L and did a few things to gain a little power, put some vortec heads on it with a new cam, lifters and headers among other small stuff. It had been rolled by both of my sisters before getting handed down to me so it was in need of some TLC. Good little four wheel drive truck. Got me through some pretty good snow storms that is for sure.

1999 Chevy 2-Door Tahoe LT 4x4 - Love it so far. I just bought it in the end of '06 so it's not very far yet, just a Dynomax exhaust system and a 2-way alarm system so far. It has all the options and low Km's so I am looking to get a lot out of it. Considering a PCM tune and thinking of what else to do still. Always open for suggestions.

1969 GMC 1/2 Ton 2WD - This is what I drove for a good chunk of high school, my brother and I put my dads Olds 455 in it so it's got some get up and go power. Still has the 3 speed from the '73 Cutlass in it, so need to find a cheap gear vendors or a different tranny to really wake it up. A fun truck to drive that's for sure.
