Noisy HVAC fan

The HVAC fan on my '95 is really noisy, esp. on fan speeds 2 and 3. It must be the fan bearing, I guess. How hard is it to get to, so I can lube it? It is accessible without ripping the whole dash out?

I'd have to run out and check on my'95, but you should be able to gain access to the blower motor by removing the glove box only and loosening the lower dash bracket on the pass. side of the dash, at the kick panel. I'l try and check on that and get back to you tues evening.

Doesn't sound too bad. If you get a chance to take a look please let me know. Thanks

Yep, it's pretty much as I thought. Pull the glove box out, remove the pass. side kick panel trim to loosen the lower dash bracket to give you a little more clearance. You may have to move or disconnect the wiring harness from the ECM(computer) to give yourself a little more clearance (if you need to do this, be sure to diconnect the batt.) Then you can get to the blower motor cover and blower motor without pulling the whole dash. :D

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you.
