2003 colors??

I was still wondering if anyone has seen the new medium blue or marine blue that is "supposed" to take care of the very nice indigo blue,,, and a new carbon metallic that is supposed to take the place of storm gray???? I will be buying a 2003 and am anxious to see the new blue,, i hope it's not the "lighter" metallic blue that gm had for so many years on their trucks. Ifanyone knows where or has seen these 2 new colors give your input

I doubt anyone has seen them yet. Nobody has seen the new towing mirrors yet either. I have to admit it is kind of suprising because its only a couple of more months until these new trucks will be hitting the dealerships.

I imagine the carbon metallic will be very very close to the charcoal metallic they have right now. Probably a bit darker like the Ford and Dodge colors. I have no idea on the blue, but it was about time for them to have a new blue. The idigo has been around for a long time. I'm kind of hoping it will be lighter then the idigo (but not as light as mine) because they haven't offered a blue like that for a long time.

one other time in the last few years gm didn`t offer idigo blue. and that was in 97. I know because I ordered a new one and wanted idigo blue. That was the year they had that barney purple. well not really barney purple. but I sure didn`t like it. Hopefully this will be short lived again. and idigo blue will once again return.

The new BLUE is "APPEAL BLUE" & yes it is lighter than the Indigo blue. But it is still a "dark" blue! Yes the extended mirrors look good as they are power mirrors. Howard

Thats wild i read in gm's media forum that the colors were Marine blue and carbon metallic,,, oh well whatever the color blue it is i sure cannot wait another second to see it

NEIL6.0 NOPE, that ain't it as it is a darker color blue than that!! It is just a little lighter than the indigo blue!! Howard

I don't want to doubt your info, since you're in "the know", but I thought that the new color was called "Arrival Blue"? Personally I don't care what they call it as long as it is similar to the Indigo from the past years. I am also very interested in the new blue. Thanks for the info.

I agree with you sk,,, i have heard it called "marine blue" medium "metallic blue" and also "arrival blue" whatever color it is ,, when someone sees it for the first time please direct me to where i can see it as soon as possible my curiosity is ruling me,,, i just hope G.M.doesn't let us down with some blackish tint of blue or something

Back in 1991 I had a Chevy stepside. The color was "Brilliant Blue Metallic" I never saw it until the dealer had the truck delivered, it had all the options that I wanted but he kept telling me on the phone "I'm not sure your going to like the color". Arrival Blue Metallic

Dark Gray Metallic

New Interior

Dark Charcoal replaces Graphite

Crew Cabs can get a DVD with remote

The new colors look good. I have some pics but cannot post them because I do not have a scanner. I can say that the new Silverados front ends actually look really nice. The new tow mirrors look good too.
