2006 Silverado LT Crew Cab Add-ons

Hey Guys, just bought a 06 Silverado LT Crew, lots of goodies on the beast, sunroof, leather, indash 6 disk (why can they just put an MP3 player in it!)

It has a hood deflector on it, factory fender flares, and now has a Pace Edwards roll top , but what else would be good?? I'm think nerf bars!

What are you guys using on your leather seats?? I remember my buddy had a Tbird Supercoupe a few years ago, he use to condinton the seats all the time... oh my they were soft!

Also, how the heck do you post a pic on here??

Nice truck! Just dont pimp it out too much. As for nerf bars i dont like the look but to each his own. I have the 05 crew, if i had the cash now the only thing i would add would be some nice rims and some mudders or maybe some Nitto Terra Grapplers. So far i have done the tuned pcm, added two more subs and a amp,K&N drop in filter, removed the stupid looking fender flares, 4 turns to the torsion bars.....guess thats it. If i had about $6000.00 i would throw on a supercharger,lol. Good luck.

I'm thinking about getting a set of 20's for summer tires and keep the 17's for winter. You have me thinking about the nerf bars. Maybe I will hold of and just get the wife a step stool! LOL

I agree, I don't like too much on them. Getting a grill screen kit and 4 window vent visors kit... maybe an exhast tip for now.

Did you add to the stock stereo or change the head unit??

I use zymol's 2 part leather cleaner and conditioner on the Suburban and on my previous truck a 99 Z71. I think I bought it at Target the last time.

Some people have that odd fascination with how much of that garb they can bolt on to their trucks, seems like if the "Stylin Concepts" catalog has it, putting it on your truck makes it "stylin"... "The Big Rig Bumper Guides", "Billet Aluminum Everything...", "rear window decals, sports team bug deflectors...

Sometimes less is more.

Id remove the 4x4 stickers off the bed (Use a heatgun), and the molding. The molding looks like crap on all our trucks. Soon as I get a free weekend, mines coming off. Someone posted on here somewhere about heating it up and using fishing line. Do a search for it I know I came across it once before.

I like the existing moulding a lot better than a couple dozen door dings.
