Newb w/ a 99 GMC 1500... What next?

I'm taking delivery on a 1999 GMC 1500 ext. cab 2wd, maticulously maintained by an aircraft mechanic. For the most part everything is stock, what's a good (practical) investment, ie. k&n air filter, chip, exhaust, etc.

Welcome :cool:

A K&N filter,a programmer ("Chips" are not available for these trucks) and an exhaust upgrade would be a great start for you!
