Crew Cab Resonance

I own a 2005 Chevy Silverado Crew Cab and I'm about to put a CAT BACK system, but before that I'd like to hear what would be my best option. I have 3 little grls wich always ride with me, one of them is a 4 month baby, so resonance is what I'm really concerned about....

 

I was thinking about the single in dual out MAGNAFLOW.

 

The other one was the FLOWMASTER 50 SUV Series single in dual out.

My neighbor has that Flowmaster on his crew, and it's pretty loud.

 

I've never heard a Magnaflow (I've had a couple) that didn't resonate or drone quite a bit.

 

Matter of fact, the ONLY catbacks I've heard on these trucks that don't drone are Corsa and Borla. But those companies are proud of their stuff...$$$.

I have a Gibson stainless system on my truck. Drone inside the truck is very little. (not enough for my wife to notice..... )

PS. I have a 2 year that rides with me... cracking a window is louder than the in cab sound.

Kanima is right our exhaust is a good choice if your looking for a resonance free ride. The other products you mentioned will be louder than Zoomers and tend to drone under light acceleration and at highway crusing speeds. When you get on it with the Zoomers you'll know you have a high performance exhaust but while crusing it's not much louder than stock. Price $599.00 for forum members

I put a BB Triflo on my 2001 2500HD. There is no drone. It sounds good to me and its stainless. But it is more expensive. I think tbyrne has a 10% off special now.

Got a 50 series suv flowmaster on my "06 crew cab. You can hear the exhaust, but not too loud at all inside, and no annoying drone to speak of. My wife and 4 year old don't complain about it (and they would!)

I have a 50 Series Big Block on my 4.8 that produces a nice rumble w/very little drone at highway speeds. You and your little ones will be happy with the Flowmaster.
