2007 gmc sierra classic work truck navigation help

i have been calling all the local dealers for the past few days trying to figure out what naigation radio i need to fit in my 2007 gmc sierra classic work truck and all i have been gettin is the run around :P . i need help!!!! my truck has the stock am fm rado in it and i want to switch over to a navi radio. please if any one knows anything about this let me know. thanks!!!!

you might not be able to switch it because, it might not have the wiring ran for it.

 

If you can look up the Nav system in the 06-7 escalades its the same dash setup.

the factory GM navigation won't work because it requires the bose amplifier. if you have a base work truck, you will have to go aftermarket. any standard double din unit will fit just fine.

Aftermarket units will be better, cheaper, and have more functionality.

 

I could stab people at GM and Bose over my NAV unit. It's really pretty horrible.
