I have been trying to get a few questions answered to no avail. I have two (2) posts about a Pioneer AVIC-D3 install in a 2002 Denali XL, but no responses. Hopefully someone can provide some insight. Additionally, does anyone know how to replace the lights in the volume control on the steering wheel? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't have your answers but I will welcome you to the site.

 

I would think you could disassemble the wheel pretty easily to get to the lamps but I have no help on the Pioneer install.

I have heard that the steering wheel control lights are soldered, thus making them difficult to replace. Sorry I can't help more.

Guys, thanks for welcoming me to the site. Plus I appreciate the info. I may try to tear in there and see what is going on, but was hoping to find some info on where the bolts were, etc. so that I don't tear anything up, and not waste a bunch of time trying to get things replaced...

Glad you are here! Yeah sometimes you just have to be patient and and re-post a couple times to bring your posting to the front. Cause sometimes we come on here looking for answers to questions and sometimes we have nothing else to do so we read everything! Or at least I speak for myself! haha

The lights in the steering wheel are soldered in and to be replaced as a whole button, go to a junk yard and get them from there, cheaper.
