I just bought a new Silverado, can someone tell me where I would find the cord for the block heater?

Open your hood and stand in front of the driver's side. Lean over the grill and look straight down. It's coiled up and sitting on top of the skid plate.

I have a 6.0L New style that is supposed to have a block heater and I cannot find it on the skid plate.

should be at the frame rail...sometimes you can see it thru the fenderliner in front of the tire

The owner's manual describes the location of the block heater as "on the driver's side of the engine compartment, near the power steering fluid reservoir". Page 142.
