Quick Lid For Wt (gmt900)

Made this lid in about 15 min, blends in to an almost stock appearance. I cut it from a 3/8"pine board, routered the top w/a 1/4"R, routered bottom so it sits down in and doesn't move. Sprayed top and bottom w/plasti dip ruber coating (holds it in place and matches well). If someone elese tries this, take measurements of all sides, it is a trapezoid not a rectangle. Let me know what you guys think of it.

Pretty darn crafty. If it looks half as good in real life as it does in the pictures you are the man!

Thanks for all the feed back. The one pictured was made from cabinet scraps, and my kids have been climbing over it for 3mo. I can reproduce these of high quality with new materials if anyone is interested. $35+shipping for painted ruberized black as pictured, or $30+shipping for raw ready to paint/stain(color match w/GM paint to other interior colors). This lid also makes a good writing surface since there aren't many flat spots in gmt900 trucks. PM me if interested.

thanks, Jason
