New Car!

Finally got around to putting this on here. Went ahead and got a used 2008 Chevy Impala SS for the wife. Was torn between that and a brand new 2008 Impala LT, but the SS ended up costing just a little less. Been trying to get some good pics but it keeps on raining here, so when the weather is better will put some up.

Yep! Man, that thing hauls and gets good gas mileage. And is comfortable. And is just plain fun.

I bet that is a fun car. And I am sure that the AFM has much more of an effect in the car with good aerodynamics and less weight. (that is assuming you learn to keep your foot out of it)

Yeah, thats gonna be hard to learn to do. but going home to see the folks, it'll do quite a bit better than my gas guzzler. Luckily, the wife drives it like a car car and not like a race car.

shoot that sounds like a nice ride! I was lookin at one all day today cause we do the Landscaping at a Chevy dealer here in the NC and I walked by a silver SS all day!

That SS badge means a lot to me. I remember the firts Impala SS I saw. A black on black 1964 327. That was a really a sweet ride. A good frined of mine ended up with it when we were 16 or so. I loved riding in that car.

 

They are a "little" different today but super nice cars.

My wife is a roadwarrior I wouldn't dare let her drive one of those. She terrorizes the highway in her altima the way it is.

My wife is definately the more conservative driver, but she does like the power the car has.
