I want a duramax so bad!!!

 

 

 

 

 

When you watch this vid. there should be two more videos, one of the truck on the dino and the other with the camera directly behind the truck on launch. You cant see a thing until the smoke clears and the truck is gone!

Surprised they didn't have a fan in the front to keep it cool with all those hard pulls. Also what is the smoke coming out from under the engine, turbo pop off valve?

I noticed it too.

 

Thats my guess, Im sure they are running 30psi of boost,easy.

A stock turbo on a d-max can make 30psi easy, and this guy has huge twins so i would guess he is running upwards of 70 psi.

That thing is outrageous!

 

The smoke coming from under the hood was from the turbos. If you notice, that guy standing behind the passenger tire is holding a temp gun.

 

Diesel's don't really overheat, even if you floor it for 3 days, so a fan is not necessary for a few dyno pulls.
