Floor Liners

After a little research I narrowed my choices down to these two. Anyone have experience with either?

I just got a set of weathertech's for my truck, I haven't had any experience with the Husky mats. I love the weathertech mats, they provide full coverage and don't move around. They aren't so slippery that your feet slide around on them either. I have a CC and the rear mat covers everything invluding under the seat, comes in handy with the rugrats back there. I don't think you would be disappointed with the weathertech's, I ordered them directly from their site and had them within a week.

I had the Huskys in my 03 SD and have them in my current truck - 07 Silverado CC. They kept the interior clean, don't slip around on the carpet. They hold a lot of dirt, mud, liquid, etc. When I removed them in the SD when I sold it, the carpet underneath them looked brand new.

I don't think you can go wrong with either choice.

I've got the Husky's as well. They don't slip and hold a ton of crap in them.

I had a pair of weathertech's and had to get rid of them because where the heal of my foot is, after a while it would wear threw the mat. i recently got of pair of husky and it seems like they are aware of the problem so they put a reinforced diamond plate looking square where your heal sits on the mat.

You might also check out Fox Weather Boots. They are fairly expensive, but totally worth it and the finest in the industry.

I ordered a set of Fox's for my Duramax and my wifey said, "Holy Crap, they are a fortune. Don't even think of buying any for my Tahoe."

You guessed it. When they came, wifey took a looooong look at them and asked nicely, "Do they make those GREAT floor mats for my Tahoe????"

Yup, I ordered her a set that very day.

I WILL have Fox Weather Boots in every new rig until I can no longer drive a truck. They are that good.

I've had the same set of husky liners in two trucks now. I had them in my 03 1500 first and then when I traded the 1500 in on my current 07 2500HD I tranferrred them over. They've seen about 80k miles between the two trucks and I can pull them out, clean them and they still look brand new. They hold up great and hold a lot of dirt, mud, snow, water, etc. The carpets in my 03 1500 still looked brand new after 65k miles. I've never used the weather techs so I can't vouch for them but I surely can vouch for the Husky's.

I had the Fox Weatherboots in my last two trucks. Thought they were great. I got the Weathertech ones for my new body style 08. They don't fit as well as the weatherboots did. And they don't come up high enough in the center of the floor. Wish I had spent the extra few dollars and gotten the Weatherboots. As far as wear and tear on either kind, I always put the factory floor mat right on top of the liner. Liner doesn't get worn especially from the heel.

We've had Husky's in 3 vehicles and Cabelas brand in one, and the Cabelas ones are junk. We love the Husky's! I've never had weather tech, but they sound like a good choice too. I doubt I will every buy them for any vehicle because I have never had bad luck with Husky's at all. Plus I like the diamond plate look of the Husky's.

I like the diamond plating too - goes very nice with a truck - we also have them in our 06 Explorer 4WD in the front, second row and the liner for the hatch! Liner for the hatch works great for our german shepherds - keeps the carpet nice and clean
