Alright my truck needs new rear shocks...... a bushing fell out of one of them but they are pretty beat up anyways they are the originals....

i was looking at the Procomp ES1000's....... i dont really need ranchos because there too expensive and i dont really care so much on how much better it will ride.... all i know is i need new shocks since evertime i go over a large bump it makes a bang and rides bad... the front is perfect it glides nicly over bumps and is quite nice...

so suggestions??

Bilstein's,I think I made that suggestion already but its worth mentioning again,You can get them for around $50 bucks apiece.

I can't tell you how the others ride. I got the Bilsteins about a year ago and I am very happy with them, I tow my boat, and have noticed a difference driving then. I got my shocks from this guy http://www.kennedydiesel.com/. My truck isn't a diesel, but you can buy shocks from him, and he was very helpfull. Hope this helps, Jake.

Bilstiens are great shocks but I would encourage you to look hard at KYB' Mono Max shocks. Excellent quality and second to none with their engineering.

Yeah, I've had the 5000's. They're fine for normal driving.

And you're right, the lifetime warranty is great. I had one go bad, and got a new one in about 20 minutes.
