I am not sure if anyone else has ever tried this but I did and it works alot better then windex or any other window cleaner that I have ever used, I used the goo gone on my side windows/mirrors/front window and I noticed that using that the windows and mirrors are extremely clear with no streaks or what have you, even when they get wet the water beads off as if its rain x, no oily residue or anything, I even use it on my Jet Ski mirrors now also and what a big difference compared to other window cleaners. I am just suggesting this as an alternate route for window cleaning, some dont mind the streaks but it bug the heck out of me so I dont use windex or other window cleaning products.

Good to know, Thanks for the tip. :D I'll give it a try one day.

That's an interesting use for Goo Gone but I'll give it a try. It's pretty good stuff.

Just be sure not to get it on anything else while you're doing this. This product does do a number on certain plastics. ABS is one of them.

I just one day after washing my truck and such put some of the goo gone on a paper towel and used it on the chrome on my truck and wow was it shiney, then I thought to myself how would it work on windows, so I did my side mirrors and after getting done with the side mirrors it was so clear that I jumped to my side windows and got the same results so after that I decided to do the front windshield and once again was wow'd by the results, I then after the windshield tried it on the interior windows and my windows were crystal clear with no streaking or residue. Just make sure that when you do it you use 1 paper towel(works best) as the applicator and a dry clean towel as a removal towel, best to do it in the shade but either way works, just rub it on and then after wipe it off with the dry towel, it will dissapear and be nice and clear. I will attempt to get some before and after pictures and a step by step process up once it stops raining and storming here.

How did you come up with this idea? I might have to give it a try also.

    • I understand that. The price is what it is, though. The price is what oil costs today, where our choices have led us, where supply is, and where demand is, in the market that is. Speculation is for futures, what we think the price will be, but with incomplete information at the time the price is forecast. I know you know this, but you appear to be intent on making a secondary point here about what you think the market could or should be, if only other choices.   In 1975 it became illegal to export US Crude. I'm conflicted on what the best answer is. Free markets allow export in pursuit of profit. But there is also a lot to gain by producing and consuming our own oil here. How do you reconcile it?
    • That sir is a choice. And even if it were not for all the reasons stated, this disruption has zero to do with the reality of the actual logistics and everything to do with the greed of SPECULATION. Spot price is irrelevant to reality.
    • What I think you're saying is there is supply here at home, and in Venezuela, and we could ease pricing if only it were favorable to do so.   Well, yes?   But that's not the current market. Supply isn't what could someday exist, if only, it's what producers are willing to produce and sell at a certain price point.   The national price of single family homes would come way down if we'd just slap together a few million homes this summer.   RAM and GPUs would get a lot cheaper if we just set up some factories to produce a bunch more and stopped using it to build out AI data centers.
