Seems like a nice forum. I am from N.E. Indiana and this is my first Chevy vehicle. I am a long time Toyota truck guy and decided to give the Silverado a try.

 

I leased the 2007 Silverado new body style ext. cab 1500 with the 5.3l last year and I am getting used to it. So far, I have 8,200 miles on it. I did have to have the transmission replaced at 3,000 mile mark because when I put it in reverse it would shake and would barely go. The dealership took care of me and was real nice.

 

I would probably enjoy this truck so much more if I would have not leased it. Things I wish I could modify would be, getting the windows tinted, speakers upgraded and maybe a Leer fiberglass shell.

I live in Indy, nice to see another Indiana guy!
