Anybody else notice all of the Tundra advertisements? I noticed it a couple of days ago. I figured somebody else would have commented about it.

Will you people make up your mind. Jim (Zembonez) want us to post more on the site and you want us to watch TV for Tundra commercials. We can't multi-task here! :)

Not the best time to open a new full size truck plant, is it. HA HA Suckers. It was a big Blundra thats for sure! Now if the UAW will just behave we might be able to save GM.

My local Toy dealer now has so many Turdras that they take up 75% of the used car lot next door (their lot). To be totally fair, the GMC store is bulging but not quite so obvious yet.

EDIT: I live near San Antonio where the new Tundra plant is located. Haven't heard yet how many jobs are in jeopardy but rumors of a closure are a flyin!

Also for the Sequoia at least couple times each during prime-time for the past 3 weeks.

And there's Honda pushing the Pilot almost as much, their hypocritical green commercial for the Pilot shows a crew cab Super Duty with 44's and the family with the dad holding a gas can in front of it waiting for help. The green Pilot driver gives them a ride and then begins to preach to them that the Honda is economical with the gas can dad firing back '....yeah, well can it crush cars....' then it fades out to a graphic with voice-over, the econonical Honda Pilot 23MPG.

:):eek::lol::sleep: 23MPG Honda :lol::D:smash:

OOOOO, no way could the Tahoe ever compete :smash:

Yep, saw them (on this site). Interesting way to spend a marketing budget.

I've only seen two over the last few weeks on the forum.

Google Ads, what can you do......the forums base level topic is trucks, so Google dumps a truck ad here.

Everyone could just click on it several times during a forum visit, cost Toy some monies to Goog and the forum gets a few pennies as well.

The reason you see Tundra ads here is because the ad-bots that search for keywords see the word Tundra mentioned repeatedly in posts on the site. They key in on words only... much like the Google ads you see on the right side of a page when you run a search. Those pick up your search words. It really has nothing other than that to do with the site.

Web specific scientific marketing folks. :M16:

I think what Jim is saying is that if we "WOULDN'T" use the "T" word in our posts,then we wouldn't see any ads for the "T" word truck! :gmc:

Am I right on that Jim? I mean is that how those ads are popping up? Because "some of us" are using the "T" word a lot?
