Everybody is always talking about MPG. I is was wondering how many Kilometers or miles are you getting out of a tank? I am getting an avarage of about 550km with city and highway driving togather. (Sometimes alot better than that).

Tanks are different sizes. I will clarify that, its better to go on mpg so compare other vehicles. Besides why do you want to know how much you can get out of a tankful. If you have an in tank electric fuel pump that cools itself with fuel and you are running your tank around empty, you could hurt your fuel pump.

well i guess i have one f'd up fuel pump i run it to the light every tank.

I get like 240 out of a tank on all city driving, and I can squeeze a little over 300 on a all highway tank

and those are about 22 gallon fill ups

If you drive it to the light you still have a bit before you run out of gas. I know because I had to do it once.

Yeah, ive gone to the E and ive only gotten 23 gallons in before the neck started to fill up, so there must be about 3 gallons still in there maybe 4 once it gets around the E.

Sometimes the truck'll stop even then cause the pickup only goes down so far and if you get on enough of an incline the remaining gas could slosh to the back of the tank and the motor will start defueling.

I can get the pickup (26 gal tank) to go about 350 ish miles if I really push it...and then put in ~24 gals. I can go about 430 miles in the Impala (15 gal tank...I think) and put in ~14 gals.

hmmm, going to and from Crystal City Texas and Austin, I usually run 400 per tank with a constant speed of 60MPH (Cruise Control)...but then again I have the 4.8 with 3.23 gears out back.

I get about 250 Kilometers a tank, that's with a lead foot

that is like 6 MPG

Is the foot the problem?
