Here are pics of my recent tint. It's been about 4 days, so the tint is still setting up. One can somewhat see the small bubbles that are still working their way out.

 

Shop said this was normal, and it's getting better with every passing day. Monday I can use my windows again :jester:

Looks good man! I had mine done about 3 months ago. No pics yet. I think I am going to wait until ALL of my new goodies are installed before a nice photoshoot

I like it very much. It gives me a sense of privacy. From the inside, ya can't really tell MUCH of a difference. It's just like looking out thru the ext cab door windows.

 

When I'm driving with the sum blasting thru the driver's window in the AM, for example, it improves visibility a whole lot.

 

My eyes don't like the sun "from the left or right" and it gives me a headache on a longer trip. With the tint, SO much better.

 

I'm glad I did it, I recommend it to everyone.

 

It DID surprise me how it changed the whole presense of the truck from a looks perspective. A comment was made above how it changed the look completely. IT does. That surprised me a little. Amazing how a slight change can make such a big difference.

 

I believe it is a 34%(?) tint. I just asked them to match the back as close as possible. According to the shop, that is legal in my state (though I'm not too sure, and really don't care too much :lol: )

 

In any case, once it all cures up, the vent shades are going back on, and I'll take some pics of the whole thing again.

I wish we could go darker on the front windows here in mass too. Mine are 35% and that is as dark as we can go. I got mine done back in the beginning of June. I love it and will probably tint my next vehicles too.

Go find a old optometrist up in their years and tell them the sun bothers you, get a script to have your car doors limo tinted legally. I did that years ago. :lol: I dont bother now.
