Installed Rc Leveling Kit....now Have Slight Vibration?!?!

i installed the 2in RC leveling kit a few weeks ago and now i was driving home from work and noticed a slight vibration in my steering wheel....would this be a result of not having the front end aligned when i did the leveling kit? that is the only thing i could think of. i have went back and made sure everything was tightened to spec. so it isn't anything loose. any other suggestions? all i can think that is possibly doin it is it being out of alignment. thanks for any help.

Maybe you knocked a balancing weight off one of the tires. I wouldn't think the alignment would be off that much, mine wasn't off any.

If you come back from an alignment shop after installing a leveling kit without any changes your alignment was off before or you need to go get a second opinion.

thanks for the responses, i will get the alignment, i was planning on it when i got some free time. but in getting the alignment, would you all go to the dealer to get this done or a well trusted shop, this is my first new car and don't want to void any warranties other than what i have already voided with this kit. can they say that something in the drivetrain messed up based on another shop doing the alignment? like front drive shafts and diff? sorry if that comes off as a stupid question, i just have never dealt with any type of warranty before. the only thing the dealer said would be void with this mod would be the shocks and bolts associated with bolting the shock to the control arm. so i just don't want anything else to be voided on the front end. thanks again for the information.

I agree with the others. Get an alignment.

 

When you install the leveling kit, it pulls the toe in on the front tires because the tie rods shorten as they extend. Easily fixed during an alignment. It could cause a vibration or just a general "odd" feeling in the front end. I'd gst the tires balanced while the alignment is done. All should be good.

+ 1 bajillion. That is something that most people don't realize. Everyone thinks it's the camber that'll be off, but the toe is where the issue really is.
