P0453 Trouble Code

I have a 1998 GMC K1500 and I Just replaced the fuel lines with brand new ones and fixed the vent line also cause I was rusted. After I replaced the lines I got a P0453 code. I just replace the fuel pump also. That is where the pressure sensor is right? So that should be new also. So what could be giving me this code? also replaced my gas cap too.

can someone please help me with this? I did a search and found nothing on this problem with this year truck. HELP!!!!!!

Code P0453 if fuel tank pressure sensor. High voltage may be throwing the code.

 

To repair you will need a engine capable scanner and a good volt ohm meter as well as a good repair manual with the repair flow chart for that code.

 

Check first to make sure no wires are crossed or frayed, most likely you have a short to power. Good luck.

well first of all theres no short cause it was fine before i replaced all the fuel lines so i kmnow theres no short. all of a sudden after I replaced the fuel lines there the check engine light
