Silver Birch

Unforutantley I was unable to secure a new 08 as there seemingly are none left (ext 4x4) in a 4 state radius. The 09 rebates also suck so that is out to the question and I am looking to go used. Most of the ones I found within a reasonable distance were silver birch. I have only see this color in person once that I remember and am trying to find some pics online and opinions. So let me see them and let me know what you think of the color. I can't decide if I like it or not.

I like the color ok. It seems to be popular, just not for me. I say if you have any doubt, keep looking. Too big of investment, and I personally keep my trucks too long to not like the color.

 

I bought my truck certified used, I had to search for a long time before I found one with just the set up I wanted, but I decided that I would rather keep driving what I had rather than settling.

I like silver birch. It doesnt show dirt like a darker truck would.

It is an easy color to keep clean, but everyone and their brother has the color around here...

Is the NBS 07 silver birch the same color as the 09 silver birch? I looked at some 09s today and liked the color but the color in the pics on auto trader dont look the same to me. Is it bad lighting?

I have the two-tone paint on mine. Dark charcol grey on top and silver birch on the bottom. I think it looks great and have had many people say the same thing.

Not sure where you are but here is my old 06, I traded it in for an 08. It only has 12,000 miles on it. It's a great running truck with some serious stereo upgrades still in it

mine is an 07 silver birch, wanted white but didn't find what I wanted in white and found this one, now it has grown on me and I really like the color better than plain white.

It's a very very popular color. If you like being seen everywhere it's OK. Looks like silver that somebody spilled a drop or two of brown in. Not a bad color... just too vanilla for my tastes.

Silver Birch was my first choice....unfortunately I was unable to get it in an '08 for the same reason you couldn't....08 rebates rock, 09 rebates suck so there were literally NO trucks in a 100 mile radius that had what I wanted (and thats a LONG way in Texas where trucks are everywhere).

 

If I could have, I would have gotten an 08 in Silver Birch. It's very classy.
