Which Truck Should I Go With?

Ok I have to choose between 2 trucks and have been killing myself going back and forth all day so I'm looking for other opinions and reasoning behind them.

Truck one.

Sonoma Red(maroon)

4x4

4.8 L

4-speed

a few less bells and whistles inside.

5 grand cheaper

Truck two.

Onyx Black

4x4 Z71

6-speed

a few more bells and whistles inside.

Both will come with leather aftermarket wheels and tires window tint and billet grille(package from dealer)

So do a spend the money now for cool stuff inside or save it for a leveling kit or something else?

im more partial to the second truck. I like the six speed tranny and a leveling kit is like 75 bucks for those trucks i think. If you can handle the 5 grand difference then do it.

I would go with option 2. Personally I'm not a fan of sonoma red on the GMT900 trucks and if your going to spend the money, you might as well get at least a 5.3L since you get the same MPG as the 4.8L but you will have more power as well.

Depends on what you want a truck for. The Z71 gives you a bit more towing capacity with beefier suspension, and I am assuming that it has the larger engine. I like the Sonoma Red colour over the black as it is easier to keep clean. If looks are all that are important, then either are fine. but if you want power and torque, go for #2.

Leather aftermarket wheels? That doesn't sound too safe :rollin: I would go with option two in a heartbeat. People always seem to regret getting less truck, while I've never heard anyone say, "Boy, I sure wish I didn't have all these options." Good luck either way!

Black is more work to keep clean, but when clean is stunning. Truck # 2 is more truck. F the money, moderation is for monks.

Years? make? miles on each? 6 speed in a 1500?

Sonoma red is the color

Both are Brand New 09's

the second one has a 6 speed

Well thanks for all the advice guys looks like I'm going with the 4.8 to save the money. Trust me it was not an easy decision for me to make but since I am saving the money I have more to spend on some aftermarket stuff. I'm looking to make up for the horsepower difference first so what have yall done that works? I'm looking at getting a chip/programer but have never used one. Which one do yall think is the best and what kind of gains can I expect from it?
