I just wanted to pass this note along and give props to Extang for the service I received on the phone today. I called in to the customer service to see if I could buy some replacement parts that I had broken. I told the gentleman what had happened when I was putting my cover back on the truck, and which parts I was needing. He took my name, address, and number and told me they would send them right out at no charge. Now that's what I call great customer service!!! Thanks Extang!!!

That's great to hear. I have one of their solid fold covers on my 08. Customer service is a lost art sometimes. Though I did have the same experience as you with an ear piece that I use for my radio at work. The manufacturer sent out a whole new kit even though I hadn't ordered it directly from them- free of charge.

Extang has been a good company for quite a few years. Good to know they still are.

I don't think I will ever buy a different brand cover other than Extang for any future trucks after this excellent customer service I have gotten from them. Parts arrived in two days and were exactly what I needed! Will definitely suggest Extang to anyone interested in a good cover. :dunno:

Never had a problem with them... In my life time I've owned Several extang covers. Liked them all and when I lost my bars out the back of my truck,.. they shipped for free, but I payed for the bars..

Worked for me.

I'm on my third (3 different trucks) and have excellent results on all 3! I dealt with their customer service folks on the last cover (05 Nissan Frontier) when I needed special adapters due to the rail system, and the same story, they were in the mail the same day, free of charge! I doubt I'd ever buy from another manufacturer!

Pretty much repeating what others have stated. Great customer service.

My kit was missing a few bolts and they rushed them to me. No questions asked. Great cover, great customer service.

How do you like the Revolution? Does it move much in the wind while driving? What about how it seals? Any pictures of it?

I like it a lot. Doesn't catch much wind at all when driving down the interstate. The only time I have seen it catch any wind of any kind was when there was wind blowing about 50MPH directly perpendicular to my line of travel. Other than that it has been fantastic. It keeps everything nice and dry inside. The only leak I have doesn't come from the cover, it comes from inside the bed where the front wall meets the side walls there are some openings there that i haven't closed off yet. And I have bed rail caps that cover the stake pockets so those stay dry. I don't have any pictures of it, but should probably get some up soon. Next time I wash it, I will post some pics.

Thanks for the reply. I currently have the PE Jackrabbit. While I like it, I don't really like the canister at the front, takes up quite a bit of space. I like the fact that it locks and is a hard cover, but I want to be able to have even more bed space when I need to haul something bigger in the bed. Since it rolls up against the cab, I'll pretty much have full use of my bed when needed. I like the fact that it doesn't have velcro either. By the way, how does it do without having velcro like the Access Vanish has? I think I'll seriously look into replacing my JackRabbit with the Revolution.

Where did you get your cover at and what did you pay for it?

It does very well without the velcro. It has a double seal on the edges along the bed rails, one on the rail, and one on the canvas so there is virtually no water that gets in through there. I added an additional seal along the front rail because mine wasn't sealing very well at the beginning. I just asked Extang about that issue, and they sent me this other seal free of charge.

I bought mine from www.truckaddons.com and I believe that I paid about $425 or so with shipping and everything. Even came with a tailgate seal too.

Do you have any close up pics of the cover? The Revolution is one of 3 covers that I'm considering.... i can already tell its going to be a tough call...
