Hood Won't Open

I was trying to open the hood of the truck today but it wouldn't pop open when i pull the lever inside of the cab. Is there a way to open it from the outside?

Have a helper pull the lever while you try the hood. It may just be stuck. Does it feel like the cable is broken?

 

You should be able to get to the lock mechanism by removing the grille

you need to have the hood open to take the 4 screws under the hood out though...

Mine sticks sometimes I have to pull it a couple times then grab the lip of the hood and pull up or just hit the hood with your fist to knock it open.

Mine sometimes gets stuck like that. Go to the front of the hood and push down sharply with both hands like you were pushing it down to engage. After that, you should be able to pull the handle like usual.
