Getting 12v power to trailer from 7 pin

I'm trying to get 12v power for my trailers interior lights while using my wife's 2005 Yukon. On my 2010 Sierra I had to hook up the wire under the hood and put a fuse in the fuse box. What do I have to do to get 12v power through the 7 pin on my wife's Yukon? Or is it even possible? Thanks.

In the fuse box under the hood, if you are standing by the driver side front tire, it's the top left fuse. It's labeled stud #1. You have to pull the dummy fuse and place a real one. If that doesn't help let me know and I will post a pic tomorrow.
