  1. 2014 GMC Sierra 5.3 just rolled over 90k. Still runs like it did the day I bought it. Only a little better response since the Diablo.

  3. Debating it. I don't really need it in my line of sight since Android Auto does (most) everything I need so tossing it someplace out of the way that's just handy works fine for me. I'd like to do something with a solid core wire or a coat hanger where I use it to keep my magnetic attach USB cord near where I need it so it can just snap in place when I put it in the location. I think that's why I was thinking magnet mount since I could almost just throw it at the spot and the cable would (hopefully) connect and the phone would latch on to the dash. I am still interested in what the not-an-ashtray gets used for. Hidden light switches? Lighter and smokes storage? Condoms because we're all pulling so much tail in our K2's?

  7. I left one on the photography page but figured I'd leave a pic on this one too. This is the most recent picture off of my camera of mine but she was bone stock when I got her. This was "pre-procharged" as well lol.

  16. Thanks to this web site and the kind people who have given the information I have gotten here, I was able to pull the plug and go with my leveling kit and 285/65/R20's. Here are the specifics - Work was performed by RMT Off Road in Fort Collins, Colorado. I highly recommend them for ANY work you need done. I used them because they were an authorized installer to save my new truck warranty as this truck only has 6,000 miles on it. Traxda 3"+1" leveling kit - (before tires, I gained 2-3/4" height at the front) OEM 20" x 9" wheels - No Spacers 285/65/R20 BFG KO2's Measurements after Level & KO2's At front license plate - ground to the top of the bumper at body line - 25-3/16" Originally...............Leveled - 29-7/16" At receiver hitch - 18-13/16" Originally...............Leveled 20-5/16" At front fender - 36-1/4" Originally..................Leveled 40-1/8" At back fender - 38-1/2" Originally..................Leveled 41-3/4" I get very minor rubbing at full lock, only on the driver side. It rubs about a quarter size spot at the rear of the well lining, toward the frame. I will tie this back with a zip tie this spring when the weather is warmer. It is so slight that I can wait until then to do this. Thanks again to everyone on this site for their input and help.

  17. UPDATE: I was able to remove the module (just 2 small screws) from the Driver's Side running board and plugged it in. This allowed me full functionality of the passenger side running board.

  20. I just rolled 95000 on mine yesterday. Over the last two days, I changed the engine oil and filter. I changed 1 gallon of trans fluid with AC Delco Dexron VI. I changed the cabin air filter. Gave the truck a bath and dried it. It was around 43 degrees so not too bad. I also installed my Christmas gift from my wife, the Opt7 LED Triple Tailgate light bar or whatever it is called. Here is a picture of my readout. I have had the truck for 52K miles and that is the lifetime gas mileage. You can compare the dash readout with the Fuelly calculated in my signature.

  25. I have 100k+ on my 2014 now but my brothers friends dad has a 2015 SLT 5.3 that he uses for work, they always go out of state for underground/pipe work and he has over 300k on his truck. Bought new in 2015. Good to see they last, even with plenty of use on the work site.

Mods I want to do: Exhuast- Dynomax or flowmaster undecided Match the tint on the front windows Nothing real crazy still under 1000 miles on it.

  34. How is that possible with out a catch can? If you listen to some on here you're truck won't make it past 40 or 50 thousand with out one...lol

  35. I'm at 124k now. I've changed out the air filter three times, oil changes, tires, and brakes. That's it, and zero problems w/o a catch can. I have new wires and plugs ready to go. Also swapping out all fluids, new Trans filter, adding new leaf springs and shocks, ball joints, and level kit. After that I'll be ready for another 12ok. My goal is 300k on this one. 36. I'm the same way with mine! I have a 14 High Country 6.2 with just over 123k miles. No catch can ever. Had the AFM enabled up to 116k miles before putting a black bear tune on it. I drive it hard, borderline abuse it, and have no issues. I plan on doing heads and cam this winter and will do a detailed post to see how everything looks without having a catch can on for all these miles. I have no plans on getting rid of this pickup. So I'm curious on how many miles I get on it before anything major happens, if anything does.
