  4. HUGE THANK YOU to Phil Gamboa, I purchased after market tow mirrors for my 2016 2500HD Silverado LT Texas Edition. I swapped out the mirrors however none of the functionality worked. After further digging I came across this message board. I purchased Phil's Plug and Play harness, followed his YouTube step by step video and now I have turn signals, cargo lights and amber running lights working perfectly on my tow mirrors. I can't thank you enough for your knowledge, integrity and support. I am extremely happy and a very satisfied customer.

  8. It's never too early to start talking about the process of shopping around for a dealer, pricing, the ordering process, deposits, and production delivery times. Although we're still months away from orders being accepted, this thread is meant to be a place where everyone can check in and share their experiences as they go through the process. I'm also going to document as many important dates in this initial post as I can. I'll attempt to keep everyone up to date on start of production, any ordering limitations, and when the ordering system will go live. 15. That is the million dollar question. Someone on here said they heard production will start mid to end of July. If that is the case pricing and ordering would probably be end of may first of June. I think GM is trying to sell their current model inventory before starting orders for the 2019 plus the longer they string us along the longer it will be in the news.

  17. Big shout out to pgamboa! I had the DL8 mirrors with no options and picked up the 1A atuo tow mirrors with the power folding option as well as the wiring harness from pgamboa. Everything works perfectly and I'm super happy how it all turned out.

  18. I gotta say I absolutely love these 1A-Auto 1AMRP01786 tow mirrors I put on my wife's 2016 LTZ. Now I'm looking at putting the same set on my 2017 LT. I ran the wiring and pinned the harness myself on the LTZ. However the LT has the DL8 mirror. I assume the door harness very is different from the LTZ. How much function would I get if I pinned and ran the same 2 wires (pins 11 and 9) and swapped out the driver side mirror switch? Or is that even feasible? Brad

  20. Keep me posted. I have some replacement glass coming to me directly from the Manufacture. These replacements parts will be for anyone that has purchased these mirrors and a harness set from me. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  21. Although I repaired the manufacturers wiring defect in my LH mirror and avoided breaking the glass, the top mirror section now reflects a distorted view. I may have placed too much stress on the mirror backing plate while removing/replacing it. I am reluctant to pull the mirror again for fear of breaking the glass and not having a replacement in hand. I sent an email to the support address this weekend explaining the situation and requesting their help. We will see what happens.

  33. Did the wireless charger upgrade for my 16 to the 18 upgraded charger....Wow did it extend the range and speed of the charge...Used Phil's wiring to make the change nice and simple. Still not a "fast" charge on my Samsung but much better than the original OEM single coil charger that came with the truck. Phil the Rev2 wire worked perfect and just like your video stated was very easy to do. Thanks guys for the information being put out to do updates like this. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

  36. I had pretty much given up on finding a decent portable vacuum until I stumbled upon the Milwaukee M18 compact vacuum. Unbelievable! It is on the heavy side for continuous hand-held operation but it is the "6.2" of all car vacuums. It is like the big V8 in the way that it has way more pickup power than most of us will ever need, but nice to have! I've owned the Milwaukee tool-box looking version for years and found it less portable than I wanted. Now I need to take my dog to the beach more often so I can use my latest power tool!

  38. Hey guys, I've scanned through about 25 pages of this thread so far and haven't really found the best answer so I'll post it here: Is there a thread on the best way to de-chrome a GMC Sierra? I have a 2015 All-Terrain. Are people buying the Silverado parts and swapping? Vinyl wrap? Plasti-dip? If there's a thread dedicated to this, I'd definitely appreciate a link! Thanks!

  40. I considered all the others like Bakflip etc. but I went with the SolidFold because it doesn’t require a rail so when you remove it there is nothing left on the truck. For the two reasons you mention this lid fits the bill.

  42. Anything that is more than 150 watts or draws more than 15 amps will cause the outlet circuit to shut off as a protection. Power tools and vacuums are likely a no-no
