I am boring.. I like stocks, and I drive too much to have an aggressive tire. Stock 18s that I swapped a guy for. Traded him my LTZ 20s plus a few hundred bucks on his end. 18s ride so much better. 275/70/18 Firestone Transforce pull offs from a Cummins, fo $free.99.. 55 miles on them.

Added some LED engine bay lights. Went with a sealed push button vs pressure switch (since I don't need a light every time I open the hood)

Hello GMTucks.com . Just bought a 2018 Silverado LTZ Crew Cab Redline Edition , awesome truck and I'm extremely happy with the new 8 speed transmission. Its going in next week for the RC 2.5 Level front & rear , as well as new BF KO2's . Still deciding on which cat back exhaust to install . I was going to wait and order a new 19 Trail Boss , but with the current incentives being offered I figure I'd take advantage of them and create my own Trail Boss with an 18 model . On a side note one of the first things I added to the truck was my GMTrucks.com sticker :-) Cheers from Ontario Canada.

My shaking issue has been fixed so I will tell you what fixed mine and I would almost guarantee this will fix them all. I was building up my 6l80 with some performance parts and sent my shaft out to a local shop to check balance, he said balance was perfect but it was out of true...meaning when he chucked it in his lathe it had 1/16 of an inch of runout in the center of the shaft. It was so bad you could obviously see it when spinning so he trued it and now my truck runs as smooth as glass with no shake, no shimmy, no vibration, nothing, it's never driven this good ever. So take your driveshaft out and have it checked. BTW it only cost me $86.00 RT

Threw on some Dub future wheels. 22x9.5 +30 with 265/40/22 Nitto 420s tires. Drop is IHC 5/7, the front dropped slightly less than 5.

This is a great thread. I just leveled my truck and had bigger tires put on and I've been researching adjusting the speedometer. I've basically settled on the fact that I'm going to need a tuner. This Diablosport tuner seems to be getting the best reviews outside of BlackBear. I've also wanted to turn off AFM as well so this is an all in one solution. Now I just need to get the purchase past the Mrs. haha After reading this thread though, I would caution everyone to be careful with the engine idle adjustment. If you recall, when these K2 trucks first came out, the very first recall for them was that the truck could catch fire while idling. The recall fix was a software update. Thinking logically about this, how does a software update prevent a fire? Likely, they adjusted the engine idle and possibly the cooling fan speed. Just be careful adjusting these settings and leaving your trucks to idle too long.

Just for poops and giggles I picked up a set of stock 18" wheels with some worn out Goodyear SRA's. Took off the stock 20" LTZ wheels that had Fallen Wildpeak ATW3's 275/60/20's in a P rated XL load rating. I was convinced the 20" wheels were part the culprit of my rough ride. Now my plan is to use my Bora 1.5" spacers and get some new tires, either 32" or 33". By going down to a 18" I figured I could smooth out the ride with more sidewall. Let me tell ya that these worn out 265/65/18's ride super nice. Way better than the 20's. They don't look as nice but after feeling the difference I don't care. I'm actually hoping to trade someone my 20's for stock 17's or get some Method 17's. You guys with your 20" and even some 22" wheels sure make your trucks look tough but I realize it's not for me lol.

Fabtech Gen 2 6 inch kit is awesome! Track width stays very close to factory. Installed myself at Gerber Collision where I work took me few nights after work but no problems. 2015 Sierra Denali 1500 6.2 4wd. Installed new front coil overs since once was leaking! I will install some 35’s in a few weeks! After alignment all is well.

My 2016 A/T. Pro Comp Stage 2 Coil Over kit set at 9" up front and slightly lower in the rear. Fuel 22x12 FF02 Forged wheels and 35x12.50 Toyo Open Country M/T. 1.5" rear wheel spacers as well. Drives like it did when it came off the lot (imo). Maybe a touch stiffer on the suspension. Only needed a minor trim on the front lower air dam. Love these trucks!
