Soo Many Choices... Need Help

So I will be ordering my 2" RC Level and 3" BDS Body Lift by the end of the week and now I need to decide on wheels and tires. I decided to ask for some advice here and maybe help me in my decision.

I have narrowed my wheel selection to 3 different types...... I think  ... and if anyone has any suggestions on other models that are similar and like let me know. So far I like

Helo 835

Helo 842

Like I said that is what I like so far but the more I look the more I like and can't decide so I'm still open for suggestions. I would more than likely go with 18's or 20's but I'm really leaning toward 18's just because I like having more tire.

As for tires I want 33's for sure and either:

Nitto Terra Grapplers

or

Toyo Open Country M/T

I'm new to the whole lift and tire thing so as far as tire sizes or reading tire sizes I have no idea. I do know that if I get 20's I will go with a 305/55/20 tire. (Thanks to suggestions given to me) But if I go with 18's I have no idea what size tire to get.

I appreciate all the help and input given. FYI I have a carbon metallic black 2009 Sierra Crew Cab 2WD. I don't plan on going offroad or at least nothing serious. This is all for looks :P

Out of the wheels you've posted... the XD Monsters

Tires.... definitely the Toyo MTs over those Nittos

BUT my recommendation:

305/55/20 ATZs

Nitto makes a great tire. I am running the TG's and have zero complaints. I wouldn't get a MT if the truck is going to be primarily on the pavement. MT's ride rougher, they're louder, and they don't last as long. Somebody doesn't like Nitto's because they have "Hotwheels" lightning bolts on the sidewall...

well yes, as much as i hate the "hotwheels" lightning bolts ( :P ) on the sidewall, he's going for "looks". Those Toyo MTs are hands down a sick looking tire and have excellent street manners and tread wear. The Nittos are just another A/T tire, nothing impressive in the way of "looks" imo..... hence why I suggested the ATZ's which are an awesome looking tire, very aggressive sidewall, more aggressive than the general A/T but not as severe as an M/T

Thanks for the responses. What would be a good tire size if i decided to go with 18" wheels?

305/60/18s will work (ATZ's come in that size too.... wink wink)

IMO, 20" wheels are perfect for these GMT900 trucks..... they just look proportional on them for some reason. On a GMT800 (2007.5 and older), its a toss up and usually 18s would look better. But these new ones, go with 20s

still no decision yet. lift will be delivered within next 2 days. this wheel and tire decision is ALOT harder than I thought. I really like the Monsters but I'm also finding other wheels I like as well. Eagle has one or two wheels I like (178B's, 064B's and 079B's) and I also like the Ballistic Jesters but only if I can take out that red insert I guess it is. Anyone know if I can? With school I don't have much time to actually sit down and think about it. But hopefully a decision will come soon :lol:

Tires will be the Nitto TG's 305/55/20. I like the ATZ's but might wait to get those as my second set.

I do have more questions though. What should I do about TPMS? How do I go about keeping it? And as far as spare tires go. Should I keep my stock and if I do will it be compatible with my other wheel and tire combo incase of an emergency? or should I fork up more money and get a set of 5 wheel and tires???

I really never knew this would be this tough. Thanks for all the help

The red inserts come out of the Jesters.

Your stock spare tire will be fine.

You can get another set of TPMS sensors.

Order now

Ok last question. Well probably not... 20x9 or 20x10? and does offset make a difference?
