For an under the rail line-x are they going to have to remove the bed rail caps? Since these are a dealer installed option if they need to take them off then I think I will have them not install them

 

After I get it I am having the side windows tinted, line-x, and a low profile toolbox (cant figure out if I want to go black or chrome yet).

Do the 6.2 liter engines come with the AFM? What gear ratio do you get with the trailering package?

 

The bedrail caps may be taped on with a double sided 3M tape or snapped in if there predrilled holes in the bed rails. My 2006 crew cab came standard with the bed rail caps and they have snap in tabs that fit into pre-drilled holes.

 

If the bed rails are optional on your truck, I think they will be attached using double sided tape. This is how all GM accessory bed rail caps attach for GMT 800 trucks other than the 1500 crewcab.

No AFM on the 6.2L

 

I am just getting the reg towing pkg (Z82), it comes with the 3.23 rear end (six speed trans). The NHT trailering pkg comes with 3.73's.

Once I put some quality pads on the rears of my 2000 they worked great.

would you ever use it? On my 2000 I never needed the rear window defogger, I was glad I didnt get that option.
