ironhead3fan
Just bought the truck this past fall, haven't had it in the snow yet, but will have to later today. Probably about 20 inches of snow here now. These tires look more like car tires than truck tires. Does anyone have any experience with them in the snow? RyanbabZ71
I have the stock 20" bridgestones on my Tahoe. They seem to do fine with snow. These are highway rated tires.
punmax
I ran these tires in snow, and was impressed! I didn't think they would have performed well in deep snow, but I was wrong.
Porter_
i ran them all last winter and i'm still running them. we got dumped on last winter and these tires did fine. there are better tires out there but these did well enough that i don't feel inclined to get new tires for this season. desrtrat
the 275/55/20 came stock on my SS. they were not bad in what snow we have here, and YES in snows in So Cal ..there are better tires for heaver snow , but will be OK. just remember it's not the taking off that's hard, but the stopping on those wide tires, act like skies.. BTW. .keep an eye on your side walls on those, 3 out of 4 of my side walls CRACKED from the tread to the bead of the tire @ 20,000 miles.. and mine were not the only ones
deadringer
I didn't have any problems with the OE Goodyear LS2's but after lots of research I ended up replacing them with Goodyear Fortera TripleTred Tires when the time came. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?ti...tera+TripleTred
ironhead3fan
Well, I am back. First trip in the snow in the new truck. I will give the Goodyear LS2's a B-. They were OK, until I went through some snow of depth more than a foot. I had Michelin LTX's on the old truck. Those were excellent. Guess I got spoiled.
