Odd Smell

Every once and a while, I get an odd smell, electrical I guess. It is just for a few moments and then is gone. It does it in hot and cold weather. Not sure if it is blower related or something else. There are no indications of any kind that I have seen.

Have you checked your fuse box? pull all of you fuses one at a time and check for trouble..

I had an odd smell, almost like burning plastic that did just that. A week later my blower fans resistor went. It would only work on high speed. Upon replacement, it was melted. I guess its a common thing with GM's

Just replaced one last month on my brothers '02 HD2500. Same deal -- burnt to a crisp.
