Fender Height?

I have an 09' CC 1500 4wd z71 with the aluminum engine block. I measured from the fender lips to the floor along the centerline of the wheels. I was parked in my garage (level surface). The front measures 37" and the rear measures 38-3/8". Just curious how this compares to other trucks?

That's not bad. Before I leveled mine, I had 4 inches of rake.

38.25" front, and 38.5" rear...

What are the chances they use a different spring rate on the CC.

When I installed my Rough Country 2" leveling kit, I took before and after measurements:

 

* Before Measurements: LF-36 3/8", RF-36 3/8", LR-38 3/4", RR-39"

 

* After Measurement: LF-38 1/4", RF-38 1/4", LR-38 7/8", RR-39"

 

I gained an even 1 7/8" front lift, and maintained a slight rake of 5/8" - 3/4".

I have Bils 1500s on ..rear is 38 3/8s and Front 37 1/2 with Bil set on first slot from bottom slot. Tires are one size up 275s...so rear is about the same and the front is up 1/2 or so with the bils first slot up.

I hope to get the bilstein 5100 put in the front today. If I were to set them to the first slot from the bottom could I fit 33s?

The rear should be higher than the front. Reason, when you put any load in the rear it will level out the truck. Also take off your spare tire I bet the rear height will increase an 1" +

from the factory, my front is exactly 2" lower than the rear.

If my spare tire squats the rear suspension 1", I am in trouble when I haul something.

 

I was considering a leveling kit but after measuring it I really do not know if I will even mess with it unless I eventually add rear blocks also to increase overall ground clearance.

And not to mention you're SOL if you get a flat. (Though I was SOL with my spare . . . but that's a different thread)

Not sure if you were looking for stock or lifted, but I installed the RCX 4.75 inch combo kit. Im sitting at 42" all around even. Getting my tires this friday coming up. Should bump it up an inch or so.

I put a RC leveling kit on my 2005 chevy Silverado. It look great then I overloaded it and actually bent my rear springs went from 39 inches to 37. Changed the rear spring and it didn't change at all. Anyone have a issue like that. Before I put the kit on I was 36 front and 37 rear. After the kit I was 39 all around. Any idea if i bent something else. I am at a lose right now.
