High Speed Knocking In Front Left Tire Area

Have a 1999 Sierra and I have a knocking in front left tire area, popped the hood and pushed down on the truck (light popping can be heard) a shock? or something else? I noticed it when I hit the highway, then it continued on side streets at lower speeds.

wow what is with impatient dicks around here lately, it could be a broken shock or mount...or a broken suspension component up front, which you would notice right away..take a pill man, we aren't payed to reply let alone most of us have jobs during the day so don't expect alot of reaction till later
