Oxygen Sensor Replacement

replaced o2 sensor left bank #2(sensor after cat).Code was Po141.Replaced sensor ,cleared code fault and after 40 kilometres the serve engine light came back on.Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks Rick

Your options:

 

1) Keep replacing it.

2) Install spark plug defoulers (spacers) on both rear O2 sensors to lift them out a little, away from the full blast of exhaust.

3) Delete the rear O2 sensors in a PCM tune.

If you have to have your vehicle emission tested in your state/county do NOT remove your O2 sensor(s) or they will fail the vehicle. It is possible you got a bad new sensor. I'd replace it again (warranty) and if it does it AGAIN, then time to get her into the mechanic who has the tools to diagnose the thing.

there is NO warranty on electrical parts,sorry for your luck,get the veh diag.d properly and stop throwing money at it
