Added Carpet Today

I replaced my rubber floor with carpet and added sound deadener on back wall. I also ran my amp power cord and rca plugs while I had the floor uncovered. I just replaced my cloth interior with leather. There is no backseat because I am still waiting on the correct leather, I was sent 60/40 when I have a full bench, so it remains unfinished :rollin:

Before, exposed wires are from my heated seats which I ran under the carpet.

Finished carpeting, you can see my amp wiring in the back.

Did you buy OEM carpet from GM? How much did it cost?

Aftermarket company call Stock Interiors. I did not use any adhesive and used the original padding, you truck is new enough you won't need to change yours either. I trimmed it with kitchen shears even though some electric shears would have made it much easier. The carpet was $139, but I upgraded to the MassBack which was an additional $55. Shipping of $45 made it a total $240. On the website, they explain Massback if you are interested.

Well done! My buddy has an LS that has the rubber floor and its all tore up! Gonna let em know about this thread so he'll get around to upgrading.

What did he do to it? That rubber looks pretty damn durable. :)

Wore that stuff dowe to the padding over on the driver's side just below the gas/brake pedal areas. , yea when I saw it I thought the same thing. Must be a very anxious driver to be moving your feet around down there to wear that rubber completely off!
