Hey...just ordered my mudflaps and starting to plan for the next mod....LINE-X spray on over the rails!...But I want to put the cargo management rails in. I had them in my toyota tacoma as as stock option and wondered if anyone has had the gm ones?? Do you like them? do they work and look good and where did you get them?

Thanks to all...Happy Motoring!

I have them,and like'em.

I have the side-mounted tool box (mounted on the RH side) on mine.

I ordered them factory installed when I ordered my truck (although now they are no longer available factory installed)

My 2008 did not come with them so I installed them, have the small side tool box also to keep tire downs, gloves etc in.

I transfers this over to my 2010. I have used the rails to tie down 55 full oils drums, ATV, furniture.

Be advised they will want to remove them to install any kind of spray in liner. They did that to a buddies truck and 2 of the toggle bolts go hung up in a body cavity and cost his $22 a piece for them. The liner dealer would not pay for them even thought his guys took off the rails but never put them back on. Claimed it had to cure for a certain period of time and they never told him they lost 2 of the special bolts.

My came with them from the factory. Love 'em. Would recommend getting some extra sliding tie downs as the set only comes with 4.

So far the system has held every thing I have tied down to it. Does not seem to intrude into the bed enough to make a difference in the ability to haul stuff.

:jester: idiots.

Just so you guys know... you can get the toggle bolts out if they fall in over the wheel wells. It's not an enclosed cavity... just need to crawl under the truck and reach up in there with a 2x4 or something similar to push the toggle bolt over to the other side and it'll drop right out.

On that note, i have the CMS and use it all the time. movable tie downs are worth it alone.

how much were they? where did you get them. I want a Line-x and heard if I have them installed they will reinstall after the spray in. I asked them if I do not have them installed...and they said they spray right over the factory plastic plugs and you have to cut them out with a razor....any experience with this??

You can get them on E-Bay for around $100. Make sure you know what you're bidding on - there are 3 different size rails for the 3 different GMT-900 beds.

Pull out the factory plugs before you have the bed sprayed.
