I Smoked An Otter!

so today i was cruising through town and a fricking otter, yes an otter came running across the road and had no choice but to hope it cleared the wheels...well it diden't, it went over both passenger side tires...now my question is should i be concerned with the front end needing any attention? i was going maybe 25 nothen fast....damn thing lived too

My buddy got a 2004 gmc envoy last year and he just had to have me test drive it and I told him no but he would not let up. He got a week ago and was just proud of it. So I took it for a test drive and headed to town. I got to the end of the road and I was going to switch but he didnt want to so I kept going. Just about two miles down the road I went down a dip and around a curve and there was a nice big old deer just standing there and usually they move but not this one and he was right in our lane towards the middle so I slammed on the brakes to slow down and I smacked right into it going about 25 to 30 miles and hour. By the time it was done the deer hobbled off with a broken leg , my buddys bumper and headlight and grill was busted and his girlfriend was crying asking if the deer was ok. So talk about the worst luck ever. O and I have never hit a deer before in my truck. The was my worst time ever hitting any animal.

 

Funny thing is he sent me that picture a few days later.

windows freaked out last night and posted the damn thread 3 times...my bad...yeah i was just shocked to see an otter in the middle of a town, it was drenched in water too so i'm guessing it escaped from some cat lady's bath tub lol

I would try to avoid it as well, cute animals. Kinda odd though. Are you sure it was an otter and not a platypus or a beaver? I would hit that for sure.
